Considerations for Reopening Schools
As noted by the CDC, schools are an essential part of the infrastructure of communities, as they provide safe, supportive learning environments for students, employ teachers and other staff, and enable parents, guardians, and caregivers to go to work. Schools also provide critical services that help to mitigate health disparities, such as school meal programs, social, physical, behavioral, and mental health services. In order to safely operate schools, CDC has issued mitigation strategies that K-12 school administrators along with state and local public health officials can use to help protect students, teachers, and staff and slow the spread of COVID-19. The following precautions are recommended by public health officials to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of students, teachers, staff, their families, and communities:

This document is intended to provide guidance for operating swimming facilities licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), which include, but is not limited to, swimming pools, water parks, splashpads, bathing beaches, spas, and whirlpools.
Swimming facilities licensed by IDPH may be opened with the following limits according to mitigations outlined in the Restore Illinois plan. However, ancillary accommodations (e.g., saunas, hot tubs, spas, whirlpools, and steam rooms) should be closed at this time. Facilities should also consider limiting ticket sales to patrons who reside in the same Emergency Medical Services (EMS) region as the facility’s location. Guidance for Staffing Agencies and Temporary Workers
Are staffing agencies required to provide information regarding COVID-19 workplace safety?
Yes. The Day and Temporary Labor Services Act (“the Act”), 820 ILCS 175, requires staffing agencies to provide each temporary worker with a notice that contains, among other things, information on the nature of the work to be performed and the types of equipment, protective clothing, and training that are required for the task.1 This notice should reflect any required equipment or training to protect against COVID-19 and, consistent with the Act, should be provided at the time of a new assignment or at any time that the terms of an existing assignment change.
In addition, Executive Order 2020-43 requires staffing agencies to prominently post guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General regarding workplace safety during the COVID-19 emergency.
This guidance provides recommendations for emergency medical services (EMS) and transport agencies providing high-risk population groups with transport to routine treatments.

Guiding Principles for Providers
In order to promote a fair process for vaccine administration while vaccine supply is limited, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is requiring all providers to help ensure that vaccine recipients self-verify their eligibility for the applicable prioritization group. Self-verification ensures the recipient truthfully indicates (verbally or otherwise) their specific category of eligibility to receive the vaccine.
Providers, as a best practice, will also request documentation or proof, such as personal identification, employee verification, or documentation of a qualifying health condition or disability to confirm the individual is in the priority population being served.
